Internal audit definition

The internal audit function is an independent and  neutral assessment for the examination and evaluation of all activities of the facility.

The nature of the internal audit unit

It is an administrative unit that directly linked to the Excellency Rector. It takes care of following-up and internal controlling  of the  work performance in all colleges and deanships, centers and departments, particularly those departments with administrative and financial nature.

The scope of internal audit
Most of the high management currently rely on the internal audit function to strengthen internal control systems because the internal audit function with its modern  concept controls all different parts of the establishment, without exception, and audit all administrative, financial and operational processes, it can be argued that the scope of internal auditing is not only limited to the objective examination and evaluation of the control systems to achieve its goals efficiently  and effectively  but also its scope extended to evaluate the same goal .
