Associate Professor of Sustainable Architectural Design with over 20 years of experience in sustainable architecture, green building design, and academic leadership. Research and practice focus on environmentally responsive building envelopes, advanced glazing systems, daylighting, and passive strategies tailored to hot-arid climates, framed within broader sustainability and climate-responsive design agendas. Actively integrates environmental performance evaluation with architectural intent through simulation-supported design and evidence-based decision-making. In parallel with technical research, engaged in architectural criticism and theory, contributing analytical and cultural perspectives on contemporary architecture, heritage, and place-based design. Committed to mentoring students, leading interdisciplinary research, and contributing to development initiatives that connect sustainability, architectural quality, and real-world impact.
