Najran Governor Attends Graduation Ceremony of 3,747 Students at Najran University
The Governor of Najran Region, His Royal Highness Prince Jalawi bin Abdulaziz bin Musaed, today attended the graduation ceremony of the 18th cohort of students from various colleges and academic programs at Najran University. The ceremony was held at Prince Jalawi bin Abdulaziz bin Musaed Conference Center.
Upon his arrival, the Saudi national anthem was played, followed by a formal program that began with recitations from the Holy Qur’an. The university president, Prof. Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Khudairi, delivered a speech highlighting the unwavering support of the Kingdom’s leadership for education. He emphasized that the Governor’s attendance reflects his commitment to advancing education and honoring the graduates as a motivation for continued excellence.
The Dean of Admission and Registration, Dr. Abdulaziz Aboud Asiri, announced that 3,747 students graduated, including 243 with master’s degrees and 2,656 with bachelor’s degrees. A total of 329 students received First Class Honors, while 650 earned Second Class Honors.
Student Abdulrahman Al-Yaseen spoke on behalf of the graduates, expressing gratitude to the Governor for attending the ceremony and to the university staff and faculty for their dedicated efforts throughout the students' academic journey.
Health sciences graduates then took their professional oath before the Governor, pledging to serve their religion, King, and country. This was followed by a ceremonial graduation march.
At the conclusion of the event, the Governor honored the top-performing graduates and posed for a commemorative photo with the graduates.
