Research Interests
I am interested in studying microorganisms (bacteria, fungi, and viruses) and exploring their roles and applications across various fields. This includes health and medicine (disease diagnosis, treatment, and the production of bioactive compounds), environment (bioremediation and maintaining ecosystem balance), and food and biotechnology (improving the quality and safety of food for humans and animals). My interests also extend to animal and plant diseases, through investigating the role of microbes in their occurrence, diagnosis, and control, as well as utilizing beneficial microbes to enhance animal and plant health. In addition, I am interested in microbial fermentation and the production of bioactive compounds of economic value. Overall, my research focuses on any field that intersects with microorganisms, with the aim of harnessing them to develop innovative solutions that advance human, veterinary, and agricultural health, food security, and sustainable development.
