null The Student Activities Committee at the Applied College - Main Campus - Organizes a Visit to Prince Mishal bin Abdullah Library at Najran University – Second Semester 1447

As part of its efforts to enhance knowledge awareness, students of the Applied College carried out an educational visit to the Prince Mishal bin Abdullah Central Library on Tuesday, 22 Sha‘ban 1447 AH, corresponding to 10 February 2026. The student delegation was received by Dr. Mohammed Al-Shahrani, Vice Dean for Knowledge Resources at the Deanship of Digital Transformation and Knowledge Resources, and Mr. Salem Al-Najdi, Director of the Libraries Affairs Department, who provided a comprehensive explanation of the various departments and facilities of the central library. Mr. Ali Saleh Al-Kabir from the Technical Operations of Libraries Affairs also participated in welcoming the students.


During the visit, the students received hands-on training on how to access the resources of the Deanship of Digital Transformation and Knowledge Resources, and on the mechanisms for searching for books and scientific references through the university’s electronic portal. This practical experience aimed to enable students to make optimum use of the available knowledge resources.


At the end of the visit, the Student Affairs Unit, represented by the Student Activities Committee and the Student Guidance Committee at the Applied College, extended their sincere thanks to the Deanship of Digital Transformation and Knowledge Resources for their efforts in organizing this valuable educational visit and for providing useful information and guidance to the students. This visit is part of a series of educational activities organized by the Applied College to enhance the connection between students and available knowledge resources, and to encourage them to utilize academic resources to support their educational journey.
