The Student Activities Committee at the Applied College – Female Students’ Branch held an awareness lecture entitled “Ramadan Between Proper Use and Neglect” on Monday, 21 Sha‘ban 1447 AH, corresponding to 9 February 2026, presented by Dr. Badriyah Al-Waadi‘i, in the presence of the esteemed Executive Director, Dr. Arwa Al-Yami, as part of the college’s programs aimed at enhancing religious and behavioral awareness among female students and clarifying how to properly reap the benefits of the blessed month of Ramadan.


The lecture addressed the concept of negligence during Ramadan and its different manifestations, in contrast with making the best use of this blessed month through acts of worship, time management, and achieving balance between worship and the demands of daily life. It also discussed the impact of investing Ramadan well on both the individual and society, and the importance of maintaining righteous deeds after the end of this noble month.

  • Warning against manifestations of neglect and heedlessness during the blessed month.
  • Encouraging students to manage their time and achieve a balance between worship and studies.
