"The Impact of Advanced Technology upon Human Psychology" a session held by Islamic, Education, and Humanities Research Center

Islamic, Education, and Humanities Research Center held a seminar entitled "The Impact of Advanced Technology upon Human Psychology" delivered, on Wednesday 20/04/2016 at 11:00 am. in Community College auditorium, by Dr. Mustafa Ashri, Professor of Electrical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, University of Najran, and consultant of the Atomic Energy Authority in the Arab Republic of Egypt. The session was attended by His Excellency Dr. Abdurrahman Al-Qurashi, Dean of the Community College, Dr. Al-Marei, head of the center and faculty from various colleges, a number of students from the College of Education, and a number of the University employees.

The lecturer has presented two qualitative effects: one caused by radiation, another arising from contemporary technological devices, where he explained the types of radiation and its sources, indicating the effects of this radiation and technological devices upon the human physical psychological health, and social relations, noting that prevention based on awareness is the best way to avoid these harms and risks. Then, he illustrated the possibility of conducting multi-disciplinary research papers: medical, engineering, psychological, educational, and social ones in order to serve the community.
