The Deanship concludes the training program "Quality Standards in Designing E-Courses" for faculty members
The Deanship of E-Learning and Distance Education, represented by the Training Unit, implemented a training program entitled "Quality Standards in Designing E-Courses" for faculty members at the university to increase the awareness of designing e-courses according to international standards QUALITY MATTERS. Dr. Islam Mohsen, the course presenter, dealt with several important topics, including in the first two days the concept of quality of e-courses, and a detailed explanation of all the basic, important, and very important Quality Matters rubrics, and in the last day there was a practical application of rubrics in the design of courses, in addition to evaluating e-courses and issuing a learning outcomes verification report.
The program was attended by a large number of faculty members, who showed remarkable interaction and interest in the topics presented. The Deanship's keenness to implement this training program stems from the close link between the success of the e-learning process and the quality control of e-courses.
