Tasks

Tasks of the Unit:
1. Supervising the university's housing units and proposing the optimal use of those units and reporting on them.
2. Issuing housing instructions. 
3. Follow up the update of residents' data. 
5. Receiving the opinions and suggestions of residents and submitting them to the competent authorities for study. 
6. Deliver the residents letters and circulars issued by the administration. 
 Financial tasks: 
• Follow up the deposit of the prescribed insurance amounts in the special account in this regard. 
• Making a special record of the insurance amounts and what depends on its deduction against repairing the damages, if any, caused by the resident in a unit or in housing facilities or liquidating service meters. 
• Follow up the deduction of the rent of the housing unit from the monthly salary of the resident with the Deanship of Human Resources
• Supervise the department's account and request periodic statements from the financial department. 
• Follow up the issuance of bills for services (electricity - water - gas - sewage) with the electricity department of projects and follow up their payment. 
• Clearance of utility bills. 
• Refund the value of the insurance to the resident who vacates his housing unit after making sure that there are no dues 

Tasks of the services:

Work to secure basic services such as telephone, internet, electricity, water and sanitation for the population.
Inspect the housing buildings and accompany and inform the maintenance department of observations.
Delivery of residents their housing units as well as receiving them from them in case of eviction.
Deliver the residents copies of the keys to their housing units upon signing the contract and receiving them from them at the end of the contract.
Opening the vacant units for maintenance work and ensuring that they are closed after the completion of the work.
Preparing and equipping housing units appropriately.
Receiving housing units from transferees or departures and writing evacuation reports that prove their condition.
Follow-up maintenance and operation services in university housing through the competent authorities, whether within the university, such as the Services Department or external contractors.
Maintaining the security aspects of university residences in coordination with the Security Department and the Occupational Safety Department
Cooperating with the University Security Department to apply housing regulations and laws and submit reports on those who violate housing regulations and laws.
Cooperation with the University Security Department in supervising the drivers' housing
Issuing permits for drivers' accommodation.
Supervising the supply of water to the university's rented dormitories in case of a shortage of water authority.
