With over two decades of experience in the field of architecture and building engineering, which includes university teaching, fieldwork, and scientific research, I have cultivated extensive expertise in environmental design, energy efficiency, and sustainable building practices.

I joined Najran University in September 2012, as an assistant professor. Then I served as the Head of the Architectural Engineering Department from 2015 to 2018. In May 2023, I achieved the rank of Professor of Environmental & Energy Efficient Design. My teaching portfolio encompasses various fields, including architectural design studios, building technology, and environmental control, among others.

My research interests revolve around environmental design, building performance, energy efficiency, climate-responsive design, building simulation tools, and the advancement of sustainable building technologies.
