This document presents a technical overview of the services that Najran University intends to provide for the beneficiary. Najran University is committed to adhering to technical aspects and local regulations governing the electronic services industry in the Kingdom. It is essential to outline the obligations that Najran University has towards electronic services, in addition to clarifying the aspects the university commits to for the beneficiary. To provide a comprehensive understanding of the technical aspects, this document has been designed to explain all responsibilities and roles of the involved parties without disruption or delay in service delivery.

Agreement Parties:

This agreement becomes effective upon signature by the involved parties, represented as follows:

• First Party: Najran University, referred to in this document as the "First Party" or "Service Provider."
• Second Party: The beneficiary of electronic services, referred to in this document as the "Second Party" or "Beneficiary."

Agreement Scope:

This agreement serves as the general technical framework for accessing the electronic services provided by Najran University. It specifically applies to the E-Learning Service at Najran University.

• Approval of this agreement is a mandatory condition for using and obtaining any services provided by the First Party.
• The purpose of this agreement is to clarify and detail the responsibilities between both parties.
• This agreement serves as the legal reference for the First Party.
• The First Party reserves the right to interpret the agreement in accordance with applicable regulations and legal frameworks in the Kingdom.

By agreeing to this document, the beneficiary acknowledges having the authority to accept the terms of this agreement. If the beneficiary agrees to these terms as a representative or agent of any legal or natural entity, they confirm having full legal capacity to bind the entity they represent to this agreement.

Service Scope:

All services provided by the First Party are subject to the terms of this agreement, as mutually agreed upon between the parties.

1. Service Access and Operational Assurance:

The services outlined in this agreement are provided at the university’s premises, following the policies and regulatory frameworks of the university’s approved projects. Unless otherwise agreed with the beneficiary, or if the nature of the work requires off-site execution, services shall be delivered within the university.

2. Service Continuity:

Najran University commits to ensuring the availability of electronic services throughout the service period, with continuous support and operational assistance.

3. Data and Beneficiary Considerations:

3.1 Data Collection:

Service implementation may require collecting a significant amount of data to ensure high-quality service delivery. The First Party commits to gathering data from reliable and beneficiary-approved sources relevant to the electronic service.

3.2 Data Processing:

All data related to electronic services will be processed using dedicated applications while maintaining all necessary files, documents, and records during service execution. Data will be disposed of following the officially approved procedures after service completion.

3.3 Data Privacy:

Najran University and its staff are committed to providing all services throughout the service period while ensuring the highest levels of data privacy. This applies to both digital and physical data exchange without violating any agreement terms. Additionally, employees are required to comply with Najran University’s cybersecurity policies by adhering to Data Privacy, Confidentiality, and Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs).
The university staff is strictly prohibited from using beneficiary data in any way that could harm, compete with, or negatively impact the beneficiary's interests. However, Najran University reserves the right to access and collect data for research and statistical purposes to enhance the beneficiary’s experience and improve services.

3.4 Beneficiary Privacy:

Najran University is committed to protecting the beneficiary’s privacy and refrains from disclosing any entity-related information unless legally mandated by a court order that serves the public interest. Furthermore, university staff must comply with Najran University's cybersecurity policies, and they are prohibited from accessing any systems, devices, or applications without explicit authorization. Staff must only access necessary resources and applications relevant to their roles.
