ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT - College of Engineering
Dr. Turki Mohammed Al-Suwaian
Electrical engineering sciences and technologies have become an important tool in all aspects of life. We see all aspects of electrical energy used in all areas around us, whether in our daily lives or in all industrial, medical, military, and other fields. Undoubtedly, electrical engineering branches into major branches: electrical power systems, renewable energy, wireless communications, electronics, electrical machines, control systems, and measurement systems.
One of the most important goals of the Electrical Engineering Sciences Program is to graduate highly qualified electrical engineers who master all specific specializations and their applications in all fields required by the labor market. The department has distinguished faculty members in the scientific, academic, and research fields, which contributes to raising the level of academic achievement of students.
As a brief introduction to the Department of Electrical Engineering and its capabilities, the Electrical Engineering Sciences Program seeks to provide a promising and distinguished program that prepares specialized professional cadres in all the various sub-disciplines of electrical engineering and meets the urgent need for electrical engineers in all fields required by the labor market, in addition to research and academic fields.
