The Department Council is the central decision-making body of the Translation department. It includes Chairman
and some designated faculty members of the department.
It is an advisory body and is responsible for coordinating academic progress in the department, executing
academic plans, reviewing/approving proposals for updating academic orientations, making recommendations
to the relevant authorities on all issues related to curriculum, teaching, and other pertinent domains.
This august body also considers matters like the formation of professional and scientific committees, academic
proposals, and recommendations on specialized matters in addition to examining and approving the department's strategic and operational plans.
