Departments of the General Administration for Scholarship Students
1. Admission and Registration Unit
This unit handles all matters related to admission announcements, student recruitment, and the issuance of visas for officially accepted students. It is also responsible for file and travel document management, overseeing administrative procedures throughout the scholarship period, issuing official letters and certifications, processing graduation documents and clearance forms, and coordinating with relevant internal and external entities.
2. Services and Welfare Unit
This unit manages all aspects of student reception, housing, meals, and transportation. It also monitors scholarships, including financial aid and advances, addresses living and social challenges faced by students and their families, enhances their relationship with the surrounding community, and coordinates with relevant departments inside and outside the university.
3. Activities, Programs, and Media Unit
This unit is responsible for all extracurricular activities provided to scholarship students, with the aim of integrating them with university peers, utilizing and developing their talents and creativity. It offers skill-building and development courses, facilitates student participation in university departments as needed, and engages them in their home countries through summer programs. It also follows up with students post-graduation to maintain ongoing communication.
4. Academic Guidance and Advising Unit
This unit supports students in overcoming academic challenges and monitors their academic progress. It recommends scholarship extensions or terminations as needed, honors outstanding students, and assists in finding them opportunities within the university to utilize their potential effectively. It also monitors student conduct and compliance with university regulations, in coordination with relevant internal and external bodies.
5. Alumni Unit
This unit maintains communication with scholarship graduates, encouraging them to positively impact their communities and strengthen their relationship with the Kingdom. Its responsibilities include:

Creating a graduate database linked to the Ministry of Higher Education and keeping it updated to track their status and societal roles.

Maintaining regular communication with graduates, reminding them of their mission, learning from their expertise, and sending them publications and updates.

Receiving and responding to their inquiries and proposals, and forwarding them to relevant departments.

Recommending qualified graduates to government and charitable organizations for roles aligned with their expertise.

Inviting distinguished graduates to participate in conferences, forums, and symposiums held in the Kingdom and arranging meaningful programs during their visits.

Utilizing graduates during official summer programs conducted in their home countries by Saudi government, charitable, and religious organizations.

Encouraging graduate-led associations and initiatives that serve Islam and their local communities.

Engaging exceptional graduates in teaching, research, translation, and academic supervision.
