The Najran University Journal of AI & Emerging Computing (NUJAIEC) is founded with a

clear set of aims that guide its scholarly, editorial, and strategic direction:

1. Publish High-Quality, Peer-Reviewed Research:

To establish NUJAIEC as a premier academic outlet for original, rigorously peerreviewed

contributions in Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Human–Computer

Interaction (HCI), and Emerging Computing. The journal will prioritize research that

advances theoretical understanding, proposes novel methodologies, and demonstrates

practical applications across diverse technological domains.

2. Provide a Platform for Knowledge Exchange:

To serve as a scholarly bridge between local, regional, and international

researchers, enabling the exchange of ideas, findings, and best practices. By

fostering dialogue between academics, industry experts, and policymakers, NUJAIEC

aims to promote a vibrant knowledge ecosystem that reflects both global

advancements and regional priorities.

3. Support Saudi Vision 2030 Priorities:

To directly contribute to the Kingdom’s national transformation goals by publishing

research that aligns with digital transformation, smart cities, healthcare

innovation, cybersecurity, and education reform. The journal will position itself as

a strategic knowledge partner in realizing the aspirations of a knowledge-based

economy and a digitally empowered society.

4. Achieve International Indexing and Recognition:

To build the journal’s international standing through adherence to the highest

editorial and ethical standards, with a strategic plan to secure indexing in Scopus

and Web of Science within five years. This will enhance the journal’s visibility,

citation impact, and contribution to global scientific discourse.

5. Encourage Interdisciplinary Collaboration:

To promote cross-disciplinary research that integrates computing and AI with

health sciences, engineering, education, and social sciences. NUJAIEC recognizes

that the most pressing scientific and societal challenges require solutions that

transcend disciplinary boundaries, and it will actively encourage submissions that

embody this integrative approach.
