To promote interdisciplinary research, innovation, and knowledge dissemination in AI

and emerging computing technologies, supporting academic, industrial, and societal

progress in Saudi Arabia and beyond.

The mission of the Najran University Journal of AI & Emerging Computing (NUJAIEC) is to

serve as a catalyst for advancing interdisciplinary research, fostering innovation, and

ensuring the wide dissemination of knowledge in the fields of Artificial Intelligence and

Emerging Computing. The journal is committed to providing a rigorous, ethical, and

accessible platform for scholars, practitioners, and policymakers to engage with cutting-edge

research that addresses both theoretical foundations and practical applications.

This mission is articulated through the following dimensions:

1. Interdisciplinary Integration: NUJAIEC will actively encourage submissions that

bridge traditional disciplinary boundaries, linking AI and computing with fields such

as healthcare, engineering, education, business, cybersecurity, and social sciences.

This cross-disciplinary orientation is essential for addressing the complex challenges

posed by emerging technologies and for generating solutions that are holistic and

impactful.

2. Advancing Innovation and Applied Research: The journal seeks to promote not

only conceptual and methodological advances but also applied research with tangible

benefits. Special emphasis will be placed on studies that propose innovative

frameworks, develop new algorithms, design intelligent systems, or report on realworld

deployments that demonstrate societal and industrial relevance.

3. Knowledge Dissemination and Capacity Building: By adopting an open-access

model and leveraging modern digital publishing platforms, NUJAIEC will ensure that

high-quality research is widely accessible to the academic community, industry

stakeholders, and policymakers. This commitment to knowledge dissemination will

enhance capacity building across Saudi Arabia and the broader region, enabling

researchers, students, and professionals to access and build upon the latest scientific

developments.

4. Support for National and Global Progress: Aligned with the goals of Saudi Vision

2030, the journal aims to contribute directly to national priorities such as digital

transformation, smart city development, healthcare innovation, and cybersecurity. At

the same time, NUJAIEC will engage with global research agendas, ensuring that the

insights generated within the Kingdom contribute meaningfully to international

scientific discourse and technological advancement.

Through this mission, NUJAIEC aspires to become a trusted academic partner and a

dynamic driver of progress, fostering a research culture that is innovative, ethical,

interdisciplinary, and responsive to both local and global needs.
