Unit Responsibilities:

  1. Organizing workshops for new faculty members on how to assess tasks and student work at the beginning of each semester.
  2. Identifying and organizing training programs at the college to develop teaching, research, and technical skills.
  3. Reviewing and continuously restructuring the course files, including redistributing grades based on the college's plan for midterm and final exam grades.
  4. Ensuring the readiness of the program file and course files at the end of each semester.
  5. Supervising the preparation of a room within the college dedicated to academic assessment and accreditation, fully equipped with program documents, and available for reviewers during program evaluation periods.
  6. Preparing a quarterly report on the status of the courses, including the availability of course reports and their compliance with the models prepared by the National Authority for Academic Accreditation.
  7. Submitting all quarterly reports to the College Council.
  8. Supervising the preparation of student exam models and answer sheets for the college’s courses.
  9. Ensuring the availability of all references and books mentioned in the course descriptions at the college.
  10. Supervising the college's strategic plan and following up on its implementation.
  11. Implementing and following up on academic assessment and accreditation activities, and proposing developmental plans for the department.
  12. Monitoring the presentation and discussion of quality issues in specialized councils through the College Council, and approving and implementing related decisions.
  13. Ensuring that student surveys are conducted regarding the program's benefit over the years of study, the relevance of courses to practical life, and their suggestions for improvement, while preparing the necessary statistical results.
  14. Identifying candidates for quality workshops, monitoring their attendance, and writing a report from trainees about the benefit of these workshops.
  15. Coordinating and communicating between the two sections of the department (male and female students) regarding all quality activities and reports submitted to the college dean.
  16. Providing and organizing all academic accreditation requirements for both sections.
  17. Submitting periodic reports to the college dean about the college’s status concerning academic accreditation.
  18. Updating the College Council on matters related to academic accreditation.
  19. Providing electronic forms related to the unit's processes for stakeholders.
  20. Carrying out any tasks assigned to the unit related to its responsibilities.
