Graduation Projects Unit - College of Computer Science & Information Systems
Unit Responsibilities:
- Receiving project proposals from faculty members and students, studying them, and selecting the appropriate ones according to the college plan and in coordination with the academic departments.
- Announcing faculty-proposed projects to students on the website and on the college's bulletin boards one month before the start of the semester.
- Distributing selected projects to students in alignment with their abilities and available resources.
- Developing a clear mechanism for implementing, following up, and evaluating the projects.
- Proposing improvements to enhance the quality of graduation projects.
- Selecting preliminary and final discussion committees and scheduling them.
- Supervising the project discussions and submitting the final grades to the heads of the academic departments.
- Setting specifications for the final technical report of the project.
- Organizing introductory sessions for students regarding graduation projects, writing scientific reports, and research methods in the Saudi Digital Library.
- Carrying out any additional tasks assigned to the unit related to graduation projects.
- Organizing training and awareness courses for students to enhance their various skills.
- Publishing news of student activities at the college and university level in the interest of the students.
- Organizing open meetings for department students with the department head and the college dean.
- Measuring student satisfaction with activities and following up on their suggestions.
- Providing a report on accomplishments at the end of each semester.
- Monitoring student clubs and coordinating with the College Academic Affairs Office to establish new student clubs.
- Handling any tasks related to student affairs assigned to the unit.
