Task
- Collect all news related to the department’s activities from the department head, unit coordinators, and faculty members.
- Make the necessary arrangements to publish and announce department news in the university magazine, on the department website, or through email newsletters.
- Oversee the update of the main page on the department’s website.
- Gather data required to be displayed on the department's webpage.
- Collect news related to the department, faculty members, student activities, and achievements on a regular basis.
- Distribute department brochures to new students.
- Print and distribute brochures for religious, cultural, and health awareness, and distribute them to students in coordination with the relevant authorities.
- Collaborate with the department's units and the media unit in the college regarding media-related matters.
- Follow up on announcements related to conferences, seminars, and other events, and announce them on the college or university website.
- Update the department's website with the latest information and news.
- Print security awareness brochures and distribute them to the community in coordination with the security department.
- Prepare, print, and distribute a guide for the college.
- Prepare and print certificates of appreciation for outstanding faculty members and students, as well as those who cooperate with the department, both within and outside the university, in addition to plaques and folders with the university, college, and department logos.
- Install additional bulletin boards inside the college, and dedicate boards for various announcements.
- Prepare and install nameplates for classrooms, labs, and department staff, and set up plastic paper holders on all desks, classrooms, and labs.
- Communicate with the university magazine and provide them with topics related to computer science, encouraging department members to participate in the university newsletter, write for newspapers, and engage with various media platforms.
- Organize college events such as meetings, interactions with university officials, and meetings between students and the dean or department head.
- Handle any new tasks related to the unit as they arise.
