Tasks

  1. Build a database of alumni from the department and ensure communication methods are in place to reach them.
  2. Collect and record data about employers from institutions and companies and their contact information.
  3. Seek ways to communicate with alumni (such as through an alumni association, creating groups on social media platforms).
  4. Develop a program to strengthen ties between alumni and employers.
  5. Keep alumni informed about available training opportunities and professional job openings.
  6. Assist alumni in securing job opportunities through various methods (contacting employers, organizing career fairs where alumni can meet with employers, providing training programs for alumni in fields needed by the labor market, and following up on job advertisements in newspapers).
  7. Assist alumni in passing qualification tests (such as aptitude tests, proficiency exams) by organizing specialized training courses for this purpose.
  8. Strive to create an effective mechanism to provide employment opportunities for graduates in the field of computer science.
  9. Prepare, distribute, and collect surveys on alumni satisfaction with the program; tabulate and statistically analyze the results, and provide recommendations based on the findings.
  10. Survey alumni who are employed in government jobs or companies to assess their evaluation of how beneficial the computer science program and its course content were to their work.
  11. Provide a periodic (quarterly) report to the department head on the activities of the unit.
  12. Any new tasks related to the unit.
