The Information Systems Department contributes to fulfilling the academic mission pursued by the College of Computer Science and Information Systems at Najran University by preparing graduates capable of conducting academic and applied research in all fields of information systems. The student is considered the core of the entire educational process, and the department aims to prepare students both academically and professionally for the labor market in various specializations. It is well known that the department’s duty toward its students is to provide them with the best required knowledge through a well-developed study plan, modern curricula, a highly qualified teaching staff, quality educational resources, and a suitable academic environment.
Provide high-quality education through a well-designed curriculum in Information Systems, which qualifies students for professional careers, lifelong learning, and community service in a professional manner.
It is expected that a graduate of the Information Systems program will:
- Enhance students' computing abilities by acquiring knowledge and concepts related to information systems.
- Prepare students for the job market by strengthening their problem-solving and professional skills.
- Contribute to the community either as part of a team or individually, with responsible, legal, and ethical practices.
- Encourage students to gain continuous knowledge throughout their lifetime in information systems through higher education, research, and emerging new technologies.
Learning Outcomes for the Information Systems Program:
It is expected that upon graduation from the Information Systems program, the student will be able to:
- Apply appropriate computing and mathematical knowledge for the field.
- Analyze a problem and determine and define the computing requirements appropriate for its solution.
